September always brings back very specific back-to-school childhood memories for me. I remember the shine of the linoleum floor of my school hallway after a summer away. I remember the feel of my new school shoes on that first day back. Now that I have kids of my own, many of these memories resurface when September comes.
September brings a time of change for many people, yielding its own form of ‘Spring Cleaning.’ Indeed, sandwiched between summer holidays and Christmas festivities, it’s a time for reflection, reorganisation and redefinition. Whether this change is for your family, your space, your business or your self, it’s the perfect time to try something new.
Forster Inc is no exception to this, with new projects coming up at the office, at our client’s spaces and at home.
For our office:
Our Forster inc entryway is getting a fresh look. Just in time for the London Design Festival, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be collaborating with Kirath Ghundoo Surface Pattern Design Studio to create a newly designed entryway for our Redchurch Street office.
This will be the first in a series of curated entryway designs featuring our favourite suppliers. It’s our way of showcasing the suppliers that we most admire and the great work that they do.
For our client:
Change is afoot at Investis. They’ve asked for our help again, this time in creating a layout more conducive to agile working. We’ll be introducing a new meeting room as well as potentially some ‘stations’ in line with activity-based working. We’re excited to help Investis explore this new way of working.
For our home:
Back at home, we’re in the middle of going through a loft conversion on our East London house. It’s a large project that’s causing a lot of upheaval in the household, including makeshift bedrooms on the ground floor. It’s an opportunity for us to redefine our space and our way of life.
