I design commercial interiors, including workplaces, studios, shops, cafés and hospitality spaces, alongside residential projects. My commercial work focuses on improving how a space functions, while creating an environment that supports the business and its people.

Yes. I work with businesses that are growing, relocating or reviewing how their existing workplace functions. I can assess how the space is currently being used, identify issues and develop practical design solutions around the needs of the business and its team.
 
3. Can you redesign our workplace while we continue working from it?
Yes. Where a business needs to remain operational during the project, I can develop a phased approach to minimise disruption. This includes planning the sequence of works and coordinating with contractors around the day-to-day operation of the business.
 
4. Can you help us relocate as well as refurbish our existing workplace?
Yes. I can support businesses moving to new premises, from assessing the suitability of a space and developing the layout through to planning what should be relocated, reused, replaced or newly purchased.
 
5. How do you approach sustainability in commercial interiors?
I look first at what can be retained, adapted or reused before specifying new materials and furniture. I also consider durability, responsible sourcing, maintenance and future adaptability so that investment in the workplace has a longer useful life.

6. Can you work within an existing budget?
Yes. I establish the available budget at the outset and develop the design accordingly. I can advise where investment will have the greatest impact, where existing items can be retained and where alternative materials, furniture or construction approaches could reduce costs.

7. Can you incorporate our existing furniture and equipment?
Yes. I assess existing furniture, fixtures and equipment as part of the design process and identify what can be retained, relocated, adapted or replaced. This can reduce both project costs and unnecessary waste.

8. Do you manage the project and coordinate contractors?
Yes. Depending on the scope of the project, I can manage the design process through to implementation, coordinating with contractors, suppliers and specialist trades to ensure the design is delivered as intended.

9. How are decisions made during the project?
I establish the key decision-makers, priorities, budget and programme at the beginning of the project. I then present clear recommendations and options at agreed stages, so decisions can be made efficiently and the project can keep moving.
